Meet the chef
CHEF HUỲNH HOÀNG SIN
Huỳnh Hoàng Sin, or “Chef Sin”, the head chef of La Veranda Resort, draws equally upon his heritage, professional training and travels to produce some of the most authentic, as well as creative, interpretations of Vietnamese, French and Pan-Asian cuisine in the island.
His traditional dishes depend on uncompromising fresh genuine ingredients to capture the essence of Vietnamese & French cooking. His specials make use of the most amazing array of ingredients that can be found on the island and beyond. Together with greens and herbs from the resort’s organic garden, he creates colorful dishes with contrasting flavors and textures that have made The Peppertree a leading fine dining destination on Phú Quốc Island.
Chef Sin started as a humble trainee at La Veranda. Years later, he’s back to where it all began to create a unique fine dining experience with his own personal touches and presentation style.
